Over hills where memory sleeps.
Shadows dance with a ghostly gleam,
Wrapped within a midnight dream.

The droplets tap like whispered rhyme,
Against the window’s glassy chime.
They tell of love that once remained,
In whispered rain, in sweet refrain.

Echoes wander down the halls
Of thought where silent memory calls.
Time may pass and people part,
But echoes linger in the heart.
